🎅 33rd Annual Santa Claus Parade Cheers! (Nov 15)

The city was absolutely buzzing with holiday excitement this weekend! The 33rd Annual Rotary Santa Claus Parade rolled through town on Saturday, bringing magic and cheer to everyone watching. Floats, bands, and community groups all stepped up, helping to officially kick off the festive season right here in the Bay. It was a wonderful turnout that truly shows off our fantastic community spirit!

Local Hero Honoured for Women's Empowerment (Nov 15-16)

We love celebrating our community heroes! A local cosmetic manager was recently recognized for her inspiring work in empowering Indigenous women in the area. She goes the extra mile to spread love and build confidence, proving that local acts of kindness can have a massive impact. This honour is a beautiful shout-out to those who are making life better for others every single day.

🍎 Northern Food Producers Team Up for Success (Nov 15-16)

Great news for local foodies! Our Northern food producers are finding major strength in teaming up, showing that collaboration beats competition every time. By working together, they're making it easier and more sustainable to get fresh, local ingredients right here in our community. Supporting them means supporting the fantastic folks who feed the North—it’s a win-win!

🛠️ Big Investment for Trades & Nursing Futures! (Nov 15-16)

This is huge for our future workforce! The province announced over $2 million is coming our way to train more construction workers, which is key for meeting the growing demand in the North. Plus, there’s a big chunk of funding for nursing programs to ensure we keep our health care strong and local. These investments are fantastic news, securing a bright and skilled future right here in Thunder Bay.
